Where do the dogs visit on their walks?
Dogs will visit one or more local parks during their walk.
On your pre-service visit we will be sure to find out exactly where your dog(s) favourite local locations are to ensure we keep them happy and any anxiety levels at a low.
Your dog(s) will always be kept local to your home address, and at most will only ever be a short drive away-unless agreed to.
Do you need a key for the house?
Yes! We ask for a copy of the key so that we are able to collect and drop home or visit your pet in your absence.
The copy of your key must be provided on our meet and greet. If someone will be at home for walk times we can knock on and drop the dog to the person at home if preferred.
The key will be kept in a secure safe and will be labelled with a discrete code linked to yourself which will ensure home security is at it's highest.
When is payment required by and in what form?
For any walks or drop ins, we ask that payment is received by the prior Friday. We also do a monthly plan if you require regular walks.
We accept bank transfer and cash.
If choosing bank transfer, then once you have booked in your required service with us - an invoice will be sent over to your via either text or email with all bank transfer details.
If choosing cash, then on either our meet and greet to pay for your first service or on your prior service to pay for your next.
Will I meet my dog walker?
Yes! We will arrange a FREE meet and greet before hand.
On this day you can explain all of the necessary details about your dog(s), your home and any other small pets that you require us to care for.
A meet and greet (pre-service visit) is necessary to ensure that your dog and I are compatible. It is also the perfect time to get to know us and vice versa.
Your pre-service visit will take no more than 20 minutes (unless necessary) and can be arranged either at your home or out on your local walk - whichever works best for you and your dog(s)!
How do I go about booking?
Simply send us a message through the contact page and tell us exactly which service and dates you're after as well as a little about your dog(s)/pet(s).
We will then do what we can to best suit you and your dog(s) needs and a date and time for a meet and greet will be arranged. At the same time all of the necessary forms will be sent over via email (unless paper form is preffered during our meet).
If all is well after our meet and greet, we can then secure a date and time for your first service. An invoice will then be sent over to you with bank transfer information (unless cash was agreed during our meet).
The rest can be left to us!
Will I be updated during the service?
100%! It is very important to us that there is full transparency in our relationship and therefore we want to build as much trust as possible, leaving you at ease.
We will give you regular feedback along with photos and videos to show exactly what us and the dog(s) get up to whilst out adventuring!
If you're anxious during our first outing-then please request us to send you updates whilst we're out with your dog(s)! Nothing is too much when it comes to building our trust.
How will my dog(s) be transported?
It is vital to us that your dog(s) is transported safely to and from their walk.
Your dog(s) will be transported in our car using strict restriction methods such as seat belts and a boot dog guard. This is to ensure you dog is fully under-control during transporting.
We will always follow our strict health and safety policy on transporting dogs and how to handle them getting in and out of the car.
Your dog(s) will travel in groups no bigger than 3 at a time and this will always only be done in friendly groups
What happens during extreme weather?
Unfortunately we can never guarantee warm and dry weather livng in England and therefore we are more than willing to still complete our walk when there is a downfall. During the wetter days, please ensure any coats you require your dog(s) to wear are left near the door along with their lead etc.
We will always carry towels in the car to dry any wet, muddy dogs to ensure they are returned home in close to if not normal condition.
During extreme heat, walks will not go ahead if unsafe to do so. Although, we will offer to change your walk into a drop in which will be much safer for your dog(s).
